Beyond Mandarfen: Journey to the Roof of Tyrol
At the end of the valley, the high mountains begin. Just past Mandarfen is the large parking area for the glacier ski resort — from here, it’s all uphill: into eternal ice, rocky silence, to Tyrol’s highest peak and beyond into the next valley.
